Voucher Training


NYT-VIP is open to all dealers and retailers that sell all-electric and hybrid and compressed natural gas (CNG) medium-duty and heavy-duty trucks or buses and, verified diesel emission control (VDECs) technologies to fleets in New York. Vendors who wish to participate in the program must complete the NYT-VIP dealer training to learn the program terms and conditions as well as the roles and responsibilities of other stakeholders, such as fleets, NYSERDA, and CALSTART, the NYT-VIP Administrator. The dealer training process is described below.

Becoming a NYT-VIP “Approved Vendor”

Dealers, OEMs, and retailers who wish to sell electric and alternative fuel vehicles and VDECs through NYT-VIP are required to participate in a NYT-VIP training course to be approved for program participation. Voucher Management

Once “Approved” as a Vendor for NYT-VIP, Vendors will be brought through the steps on how to submit and process vouchers. A presentation will be provided by the NYT-VIP Administrator to carefully guide the Vendor through each step and address the Vendor’s questions.
